Olivia Shoultz

Olivia discovered rivers and wild places as an adult—a little late to the magic of connecting with nature—but fell hard and fast for the rhythm of backcountry life. For the past five years, she has followed her passion for rivers, children, and nature. Olivia has guided on the Snake River through Hells Canyon and the Lower Salmon, and she is excited to continue exploring and sharing Idaho’s wild river canyons with others.

When she’s not on the water, Olivia works at a forest preschool, supporting children as they experience the magic of outdoor play-based learning. She also serves on the board of a nonprofit in Meadows Valley, working to provide high-quality childcare for local families.Whether teaching, boating, digging in the snow, or laughing around a campfire, Olivia values connection—to place, to people, and to play.
