Hallie Holland

Hallie is a guide, educator and good-time-haver from Idaho. Her life has taken her from the tops of the Cascade mountains, to the canyonlands of Utah, to the cities of Europe, to the rivers of Chile, and all the way back to her home state. She works on the Salmon in Idaho, as well as the Green and Yampa Rivers in Utah and Colorado. While she started whitewater boating from the guide seat of a paddle raft, Hallie also rows, is an ACA L3 kayak instructor and has recently picked up whitewater canoeing. When she’s not in the classroom teaching Leadership or Spanish to high schoolers, she can be found admiring snowflakes, water droplets or dirt from skis, a boat, a bicycle or on foot, frequently with dog Nix in tow.
