Born from Montana Rockies and magnetized to Idaho’s waterways like a wild salmon, Ellē is an artist of many—part illustrator, part musician, and full-time storyteller. After years of teaching across Southern Africa, India, and Latin America, Ellē has arrived at a simple truth: fun is the ultimate catalyst for learning.

On the water, as a guide and whitewater kayaker, Ellē specializes in the ‘drop-in.’ She uses movement and music to help guests ditch the mental chatter and feel the canyon’s heartbeat. Whether she’s jamming on the handpan or pointing out her favorite wild medicinals, she’s all about finding that confluence—where curiosity meets kinship, and we finally sync up with the rhythm of the land.

Her life and art carry a single, vibrant message: “You are of this earth!” She is here to remind us that we aren’t just visitors in the wilderness, but deeply interconnected and vital members of this giant, living membrane we call home.
