Enjoy the company of ladies of all walks of life, as you join together as a river tribe for 6 days. Revel in the wonder of this free-flowing river in all of her beauty, excitement, and tranquility. Play in the friendly class III-IV whitewater on a variety of crafts. Try your skills at an inflatable kayak, SUP, hardshell kayak (previous experience required), paddle raft or oar raft. Explore your body and soul through yoga, meditation, and nature. Venture on hikes, swim in the river, paint or read by a side stream, gaze at the stars. Embrace the camaraderie of like-minded women. Reunite with old friends and/or make new friends. Eat wholesome, locally sourced foods and learn about Ayurvedic practices. Relax in the boundless serenity of wild Idaho, and be completely unplugged!
This year we bring together two amazing women and their organizations. Meet Anna Levesque with Mind, Body, Paddle and Melissa DeMarie with California Women’s Watersport Collective. Together these ladies bring a host of talent to the table.
Anna is the author of Yoga for Paddling, and an international paddling, yoga and Ayurveda wellness coach. She empowers her clients to take charge of their wellbeing and confidence for the vitality and courage to follow their passions through all stages of life. She was voted Most Inspirational Outdoors Person in Best of the Blue Ridge 2017 and named one of the most inspirational paddlers alive by Canoe and Kayak Magazine. She is a brand ambassador for BIC SUP, Dagger Kayaks, Werner Paddles, and NRS. Anna is the founder of Mind, Body, Paddle, and lives in Asheville, NC with her husband Andrew and their Schnoodle Ceiba. Melissa is the Co-Founder and President of California Women’s Watersport Collective. CWWC is an organization conceived by a few passionate female paddlers in Northern California and is dedicated to generating and fostering a community of women who share a love of the water. They are committed to empowering women to be confident both on and off of the water by developing both athletic and leadership skills, cultivating personal connections and encouraging environmental stewardship.
