Jessie Longe

When springtime rolls around, Jessie swaps her Breckenridge Ski Patrol jacket for a PFD and she chases the snow melt to Idaho. Jessie first experienced the Salmon River corridor with friends and was immediately hooked by ‘river magic.’ With that inspiration, she launched herself into a passionate pursuit of whitewater from the southeast to the northwest. The kayak was her first true love and remains her ‘craft of choice’—though an oar rig is a close second. Jessie spends a lot of time with the fish…either upside-down as she learns a new kayak trick or as an aspiring angler. You’ll be guaranteed to laugh if you find yourself on the river with Jessie; she loves meeting new folks and she has a knack for making you feel welcome. She deeply appreciates wild places and is fascinated by our natural world. One of her goals this summer is to be sponsored by a sunscreen company…and she can’t wait to meet you!
