Syver Pearson

Syver (pronounced seever) joins team Canyons after taking a guiding hiatus in order to promote young adolescent development across the Northwest. Syver originally started guiding rafts in 2010 on the American River in California. While seasonally guiding, he obtained a degree in Plant Science from UC Santa Cruz. Mountains and free-flowing rivers have always called to him, beckoning him to come home. Syver has found his place, his home, in both Central Oregon and the Gem State of Idaho.

Syver loves to promote nature connection, advocate for Wild Places, and share stories on and off the water. He brings with him a true joy for water, music, food, and crafts. These attributes make him right at home in the Canyons Community. Come bring your singing voice and adventurous spirit and join Syver on the beautiful Salmon River!
