Josh was raised in northern Utah, where he discovered his passion for outdoor sports. Hiking, mountain biking, backcountry powder skiing, kayaking, raft guiding, you name it, Josh does it well and with style. For many winters Josh trained as a sushi chef in Salt Lake City. He ripped up the ski slopes by day and created visually stunning edible masterpieces by night. When Josh wields a knife in the kitchen, there is no doubt that you are seeing a professional at work. Josh adds to Team Canyons in so many ways, with a ready smile and calm countenance.
In the offseason, Josh resides in Moab, Utah with his wife Ariana (also a Canyons guide and manager). He keeps busy making snow in Telluride, skiing, biking, kayaking and playing his guitar.
