Jen Cook

Jen began guiding 13 years ago on the Kern River in California, after retiring from her college swimming career. During the last decade, she has found her way down many amazing rivers such as Cherry Creek on the Tuolumne River, the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and the Futaleufu River in Chile. Guiding and her love for adventure have led her to many remarkable places in Colorado, Arizona and eventually, Idaho.

Currently, Jen lives in Boise, Idaho, seeking a degree in nursing. When her nose isn’t buried in a textbook, you will find Jen skiing or training with the USA Women’s Rafting Team for the World Raft Racing Championships. Jen really enjoys drinking coffee, exploring on her dirt bike and going for hikes. Jen loves to laugh, hoot and holler her way through rapids, so be prepared to make some noise in the raft.
