Jesse is an Alta Ski Patroller moonlighting as a professional guide across the globe. As a youngster, Jesse could be found in the iconic mountains of the Pacific Northwest, at resorts like Bluewood, Brundage, and Willamette Pass. In 1996 he landed in Little Cottonwood Canyon and since 2000, has spent winters guiding athletes, film crews, sportswear brand reps, and weekend warriors alike through Utah’s Wasatch Range, while serving on the Ski Patrol and Snow Safety team for Alta, and helicopter ski guiding with Wasatch Powder Birds. In early spring, Jesse migrates north to Alaska as a guide for SEABA Heli in the Chilkat and Takhinsha Mountains. Late spring and early fall finds Jesse leading whitewater trips through the Grand Canyon. In July and August when the snow flies in the Southern Hemisphere, so does Jesse as he works with Third Edge Heli in the Chilean Andes, while also taking time to travel in South America. When not skiing or boating for work or play, Jesse is found everywhere else with his girlfriend Tara and 11-pound dog, “Honey of the Wasatch”.
